I had to erase the "About Me" section that I had up previously b/c I quit my job at the Firm after being there for 3 years. I was under-appreciated and underpaid; so, when a headhunter called for me to jump ship, I did just that. I start my new job on November 15th. Since writing the "About Me" section, I have lost a job and a fiancee--both of these things were a bit "agobiante"--switching to Spanish. I met a new girl and things are going well. I am thinking about other options and wondering if law is my future. When I was at the firm, I'd always say: "There's gotta be a better way." This new job seems, without having worked there, to be much better. I'll be the 6th attorney there and will only be doing IP (intellectual property) work. Besides that, the pay's better and the bonuses are real. Things are looking up and perhaps, finally, I can start to make it happen for myself.

I listen almost exclusively to Regaeton and Spanish music on the local stations in NYC, & Terra Samba and E O' Tchan--two Samba bands from Brazil.
